Ambient Units

The Package Ambient Unit comprises of a free standing mixer box unit for high level ventilation crop stores, especially suited for box stores and potato chitting stores

Including axial fan, complete with ambient air intake and recirculation louvres, wall intake section and pest guard.

Package ambient units with top high-level ventilation provides a cost effective and efficient method of ventilation and temperature control in vegetable box stores.

Farm Electronics design and manufacture air handling units, specifically for use where accurate temperature control and cooling by ambient
air is necessary to maintain the crop in a good condition and at the correct temperature.

Various customisable options include:

  • Noise reduction, by means of sound deadening and fan selection

  • Customised duct length and hood sizes to fit around existing buildings

  • Inverter starters for fans to give a full range of fan speeds

  • Bespoke fan sizes to suit customer requirement (e.g. specific cfm/tonne)

  • PAU stand lengths can be increased to fit over existing solid walls. This can also be used to add on a fridge unit retrospectively.
